Living and dining rooms suit light filtering, which softens the sun while keeping daytime privacy. Where the view is the feature, or there are TVs and monitors, sunscreen cuts glare and heat without closing the room off.

 Then think about the look. Blinds sit neatly in the reveal and keep lines clean. Curtains add softness, warmth and sound absorption. Plenty of Sydney homes use both a blind at the glass with sheers over the top.

Blockout stops light at the window. Light filtering lets a soft glow through while obscuring the view in. Sunscreen has an open weave that cuts glare and heat but still lets you see out. Many homes run blockout and light filtering together as a dual blind on one bracket, so you can switch between them through the day.

Price depends on the fabric, the size of the opening and whether you choose chain, cord or motorised control, so we quote per window rather than per metre. We do both. Our own in-house team handles the measure, the make and the install — not subcontractors. We check frame conditions, mounting points and alignment before fitting, protect your home while we work and clean up before we leave. Installation is backed by a workmanship warranty, and every fabric carries a manufacturer warranty.

Yes. We bring samples to your home at the measure so you can see each fabric in your own light, which is the only way to judge a colour properly. You can also see the full ranges in person at our Castle Hill and Liverpool showrooms.
